After completing the master’s programme in corporate climate law, you will have excellent career prospects. You can work, for example, as a lawyer, in-house counsel or government official. Opportunities also exist within international organisations, NGOs or academia or policy institutes.
If you combine the master’s programme International Business Law: Climate Change and Corporations with a Dutch bachelor’s degree in law, you also obtain the civil effect (effectus civilis). This allows you to work at a Dutch law firm and register with the Dutch Bar Association.

What can you do after your Master's degree?
Versatile career opportunities after graduation
Our alumni work at multinationals, international law firms, banks and consultancy firms, both in their home countries and in the Netherlands. Others choose a career as a legal adviser at government institutions and international organisations.
An academic career
The climate law specialisation forms a solid stepping stone towards an academic career, for example as a PhD candidate, researcher or lecturer at a university or another (scientific) research institution.
