Making a difference in the world of Climate Finance

Become a financial expert with a heart for the environment and society

The Climate Finance programme emphasizes the management of financial resources within corporations, encompassing both financial and non-financial aspects, with a broader focus on decision-making within the context of climate-related challenges. The material covered in your courses will be motivated by finding answers to among others following questions: How is climate related to the finances of governments, corporations, and households? What is the right decision making for funding sources in managing large scale projects of the future? What needs to change in finance decision making to drive a positive development of the future? How to fund companies given the challenges of climate change from a finance perspective?

Through a tailored curriculum, the Climate Finance programme aims to empower students to become proficient professionals capable of navigating these critical topics and making informed decisions in the realm of climate finance. As a student of the Climate Finance program, you will receive a comprehensive training in finance as well as in climate science to be able to contribute to finding solutions of the impact of climate change on running economic projects. Given the challenges that are ahead of us, companies, governments, and non-profit organizations understand and are in an urgent need of experts with knowledge from both fields. Note, that if you find this programme not to suit your study interests fully you can change over the regular finance track after the first block.
