In this course we explore love through multiple lenses: psychological, sociological and philosophical. We discuss big questions such as:
- What can attachment theory teach us about love?
- How do biology and chemistry shape what we feel?
- Is our capacity to love a mirror of our society? Has dating become a marketplace?
Each seminar weaves together theory and experience by combining short lectures, reflection, dialogue and embodied exercises such as walk & talks and creative journaling. Alongside academic readings, we’ll explore how love is expressed through art, music and poetry. You’ll not only study the ideas and science behind love, but also explore what it means to live it and create from it.
