Are novel technologies smarter than us?

Sem01 (2024-2025) Developing and Organizing Expertise in the Age of AI

We are all in an era where various technologies (e.g., ChatGPT and other generative algorithms) are transforming our expertise and skills. In this course, we examine how our expertise is going to be transformed by these technologies and how we proactively engage with these changes in our career, profession, and work.

Students are engaged in their own career journey as upcoming experts and will critically reflect on how they can proactively develop their expertise. The course goes further and entitles the students as future leaders of an inclusive and responsible society who need to be active in shaping the development of emergent technologies and the changes in the working and organizing contexts. The course has a social, organizational perspective and does not cover the technical expertise of developing and working with AI tools.

The course includes trips to the wonderland of expertise transformation!
