Summerschool Clinical Neuroanatomy

The course offers an in-depth exploration of the structure and function of the central nervous system, with strong emphasis on clinical relevance. Stretching from bench to bedside, the course enables students to understand the relationship between anatomical structures and systems and different neurological disorders.

Summerschool Global Health

The Global Health Summer School course focuses on health equity and complex global health issues. You will learn about healthcare systems around the world, emerging issues and global health careers. You will learn and practice qualitative research skills.

Summerschool Human AI: Modeling, Simulation and Analysis of Adaptive Human Mental, Social and Health-Related Processes

Mental, social, and health-related processes can all change and adapt over time with human behaviour. This course will present theories and findings from human-directed disciplines such as cognitive, social, health and neurosciences, to gain insight into underlying mechanisms and pathways of human processes. These causal pathways, can be modeled as networks. by the framework and the software provided. In the second week, an own project is addressed for a publication that can be finished later on in the course.

Summerschool Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation: Foundations for Designing and Implementing Research

Non-invasive brain stimulation (NIBS) is a powerful tool which can be used to ask questions about cause-and-effect relationships in the brain of healthy and pathological populations. It can also be used as a treatment in various psychiatric and neurological conditions. To harness the full potential of NIBS and use it optimally, it is essential to have a strong theoretical foundation. After following this course, you will be able to determine whether NIBS is a suitable technique for your research question and make informed decisions about the study design. You will also receive some hands-on training.

This course offers the latest scientific insights into how people can manage their emotions. These scientific insights have a wealth of applications in psychotherapy and work settings and can also be used to foster personal growth.

Summerschool Unlocking the Mysteries of Neurodegenerative Diseases: Advances in Research, Diagnosis, and Treatment

This two week-long summer school aims to provide a comprehensive, interdisciplinary understanding of neurodegenerative diseases, blending scientific rigor with practical applications. By engaging with cutting-edge research, real-world case studies and practical labtours, participants will gain invaluable insights into the complexities of neurodegenerative diseases, preparing them to contribute meaningfully to care and research. In addition, students will obtain valuable skills in critical and constructive thinking. Also, students will learn how to translate obtained knowledge and ideas into a high-quality presentation with students from various backgrounds.
