Our menu for collaborations

  • Tailor-made entrepreneurship education

We believe that in todays society, students from all fields of study would benefit from learning about entrepreneurship. At VU Amsterdam, we offer specific entrepreneurship courses for students in Biomedical Physics and Technology, Analytics and AI, Renewable Energy, Human Movement Sciences, Medicine and Health and Life Sciences, as well as for Law students through the Startup Clinic Law. We also offer entrepreneurship courses for honours students and an introduction to the Business Model Canvas to high schoolers.

Are you working at a higher education institute (from high schools to (applied sciences) universities) as a teacher or an education manager, and are you interested in integrating entrepreneurship education in a curriculum outside the domain of business and economics? Please reach out, we'd like to share our experience!

  • Erasmus+ projects

We continuously develop our knowledge by taking part in Erasmus+ projects, such as the recent succesful Entrepreneurship in Renewable Energy (EntRENEW) project, together with Association Leonard De Vinci (France), Vaasan Yliopisto (Finland), Universitat Politecnia de Valencia (Spain), Hogskolan I Halmstad (Sweden) and Europroject (Bulgaria).

If you are looking for a partner with expertise in entrepreneurship, specifically in one of the following sub-fields, please send us an email. We are always interested in expanding our international network with partners who are working on the same topics to exchange knowledge and experience.

  • Guest lectures

Experts from VU Center for Entrepreneurship regularly guest lecture in the Netherlands or abroad! Have a look at our hall of fame, to find the right expert for your request. Send us an email and we'll connect you. Our experts regularly contribute to capacity building projects from the Center for International Cooperation.

  • Coaching for lecturers

Take part in a coaching trajectory by full professor Sustainable Entrepreneurship, Enno Masurel. Prof Masurel has decades of experience with entrepreneurship research and education. In his academic career, he has always found new ways to stay inspired. At the moment he is open to guiding new educators in designing a career in academia that is adventurous without getting overworked. An entrepreneurial mindset is key!

Questions that could come to the table:

    • What are ways to keep my education innovative and diverse?
    • How do I build a network of industry relations? How do I involve industry relations in my education?
    • How do I create time for inspiration and personal projects, in an overloaded academic calendar?
    • What are ways to create a budget, to use for my own initiatives?

After an intake, a series of one on one meetings will lead you to new directions in your career. This coaching trajectory is also open to lecturers from other higher education institutes.

  • Another idea?

We'd like to hear about it! Email us at cfe@vu.nl
