Structure of the course

The course consists of five modules and two additional workshops. At the end of the course, a final event takes place, during which participants present their projects and VU’s sustainability platforms are present to give feedback and invite them to join.

A module is split into three parts:

  1. Brainstorm: Participants are provided with a short summary of the upcoming topic and together discuss the main topics and questions they would like to find answers to. The brainstorm is combined with the meetings preceding the module.
  2. Self-study: Following the brainstorm session, participants dive deeper into the topic by reading through the online module that is offered on Canvas. Information is provided in various formats, such as knowledge clips by VU researchers, text and multimedia external content.
  3. Discussion: During the discussion, participants talk about the topics and reflect on them. The discussion is guided by a facilitator and takes place in person at VU.

Attending the live sessions is necessary for achieving meaningful outcomes and to receive a certificate.
