Inzicht in professionele leraarschap is essentieel voor het verbeteren van de onderwijskwaliteit, zeker in tijden van toenemende lerarentekorten. Door te onderzoeken hoe leraren zelf hun beroep ervaren, kunnen waardevolle inzichten worden verkregen voor beleid dat gericht is op het ondersteunen, behouden en motiveren van leraren.
