Education facilities
Facilities for studying with a disability

Current Facilities
As a student, you can request educational facilities through the central application system under the option "other facilities". Because these facilities are not standard, it is necessary to have a conversation with a student advisor. The student advisor can inform you about the possibilities of your support request. If you need support to better prepare for and follow education, it is therefore extra important to have a conversation with your student advisor. It is also often necessary to contact your lecturer or professor yourself to discuss your support questions.

What are we striving for?
The goal is to incorporate facilities into standard processes to make education more accessible without consuming too much energy for students. Of course, there will always be room for customization . The SMF Info Point and the Multi-Year Program for the Implementation of the UN Convention on Disability work together with the student platform Disability RendezVU. They provide recommendations to make education more accessible. The faculties are currently examining these recommendations for feasibility and practicability.
