Studying with a disability

Do you have a functional disability and do you need facilities or support during your studies?

VU Amsterdam offers various facilities to support you if you study for example with a physical or psychological disability, a chronic illness, dyslexia or ASD. Such as a lift pass, extra guidance for students with ASD and rest room etc. Be sure to request a facility three weeks in advance.

Do you have questions about studying with a disability? Then contact the Infopoint Studying with a Functional Disability (SMF). Here you can be referred to the right place or person. The SMF Info Point is also available to you if you want to get involved, have a comment, or if you run into any problems during your studies. At the bottom of this page you will find the contact details of the Infopoint SMF, you can also schedule a call during the walk-in consultation hour. For requests for facilities, your student advisor is always your first point of contact.
