Before you start working on your thesis, you will report to the thesis coordinator of your Master’s programme or specialization and you will present a preliminary research design.

In your research proposal, give a short description of how you chose your topic, the research question you are planning to use, and the research method you intend to apply. Please also provide a preliminary list of literature or legislation on the subject.

    The preliminary interview is mandatory.

The thesis coordinator will find you a suitable supervisor who will then guide you through the process of writing your thesis.

Finally, the thesis supervisor will confer with a second assessor to determine your mark.

If you submit a complete thesis without the supervision of a faculty member, then you will not receive a mark.

In general, for all problems related to writing your thesis, you must turn to your thesis supervisor. Of course you can also always contact the faculty’s study advisors. If you have a dispute with your supervisor or you wish to submit a complaint about their guidance, then please contact your degree programme’s thesis coordinator.
