"With our department with so many different nationalities and language levels, I was curious what offer they would make. I looked at different language institutes, but VU-NT2 turned out to be able to offer the most suitable courses. courses with good personal guidance for the participants and clear communication.
As a department, we have offered a Dutch course to employees and their partners. Mastering the basics of the Netherlands ensures good integration within the university. It is also a nice extra employment condition that we can offer in a competitive labour market. We receive positive feedback from participants. In this time when colleagues mainly work from home, it is nice to take the course together. And it's also nice when new employees get to know each other better in this way.
I have experienced contact with VU-NT2 as very pleasant. We respond quickly and adequately to questions and comments from our department. The feedback is nice. It is great that we as a department are kept informed about the progress of the course. I am very satisfied with the cooperation and we would like to continue it. Our plan is to have a group from Computer Science take the course at fixed times during the year. It may also encourage colleagues to start speaking more Dutch among themselves."
