Join VU scientists, students and staff in a week-long action that demands climate justice education for all! From 14 to 17 April, the entrance hall of the VU main building turns into a stage for a marathon of a different kind: readers will take half-hour turns reading academic texts that show how the climate crisis affects every discipline and career path. They want to demonstrate why climate justice education matters for all.

Organised by VU Green Office, VU Scientist Rebellion, VU Sustainability Office and Amsterdam Sustainability Institute.
As part of the reading marathon, a lecture by Ginie Servant-Miklos takes place on Tuesday 15 April, titled “Pedagogies of Collapse”. She will discuss how to teach and learn about climate collapse without resorting to denial or despair, exploring hopeful ways to handle tough truths. Read more on the lecture.
