In a tenure track, clear agreements are made, usually for a period of five years, on performance and the associated opportunities for advancement. With good performance, the tenure track offers permanent employment.
From 1 January 2024, the provisions in the collective labour agreement on tenure tracks will change. There is a transitional right for current tenure tracks entered into before 1 January 2024. The policy on this page will continue to apply to them. New policies are being drafted.
