Ouriginal, formerly called Urkund, is a plagiarism scanner that allows teachers to check how similar students' texts are to each other and to other texts.

Please note:

  • Ouriginal will go offline after end of P3, on 24 February and be replaced by Similarity.
  • Similarity, the new plagiarism scanner, is available in Canvas in the week of December 9, 2024.
  • Similarity must be used from P4 2024/2025.

What can you do with Ouriginal?

  • Quickly scan for plagiarism by looking at a percentage of similarity
  • Easily interpret the plagiarism report
  • Working fast and simple by integrating into Canvas
