Introduction to Leadership and Organisational Behaviour

Introduction to Leadership and Organisational Behaviour: A Global Perspective

An intensive summer course designed to equip students with a solid foundation in leadership and organisational behaviour (OB). The course introduces students to the key principles that explain how individuals and groups behave in organisations, and how leaders can shape that behaviour in ethical and effective ways. The course is taught by an organisational behaviour academic with over two decades of experience as a senior executive in global organisations, thus seamlessly blending practical insight with academic rigor. Through a balance of lectures, case studies, role-plays, and team-based learning, students will not only explore classic and contemporary OB theories but also apply them to real-world scenarios. The course emphasises global applicability, helping students develop the cultural intelligence needed to navigate today’s complex international work environments.
