Women and Power: An executive programme for Women Leaders

Women and Power: An executive programme for Women Leaders

This transformative programme supports women leaders in moving beyond traditional leadership models to redefine power in a way that feels authentic to them. Rather than waiting for an opportunity, this programme encourages you to create your own path.

You'll explore the historical, cultural, and societal factors that have influenced current power dynamics, which can often present challenges for women. This will help you gain a clearer understanding of why traditional leadership approaches may not fully resonate with you and offer alternative perspectives for success.

Throughout the programme, you'll have the chance to reflect on what power means to you and develop strategies for navigating existing structures while also creating new opportunities for yourself and others. The goal is to help you cultivate a leadership style that aligns with your values, builds confidence, and equips you to drive positive change within your organization and beyond.

The upcoming edition of the Women and Power programme is planned on February 13, 14 and 15, 2025

Key learning goals

  1. Deconstruct Traditional Power Structures: Participants will critically analyze and challenge conventional notions of power and authority in leadership, moving beyond hierarchical models to understand influence, connection, and impact.
  2. Develop a Nuanced Understanding of Power Dynamics: Participants will gain insights into the complex interplay of power within their organizations and industries, learning to identify and navigate these dynamics effectively.
  3. Cultivate Effective Influence Strategies: Participants will develop and practice strategies for exerting positive influence within their spheres of influence, leveraging their understanding of power dynamics to create positive change.
  4. Enhance Communication and Networking Skills: The programme highlights building strong connections with fellow women leaders, fostering collaboration, support, and the exchange of experiences through networking opportunities.
  5. Craft a Personalized Vision of Impactful Leadership: Participants will define and articulate a personal leadership approach rooted in influence, connection, and impact, moving beyond traditional, authority-driven models.
  6. Develop Actionable Plans for Real-World Application: The programme emphasizes translating learning into concrete action plans. Participants will identify key takeaways and develop strategies for applying their insights to real-world leadership challenges.

What you will gain

  1. Reconceptualize Power: Moving beyond traditional, hierarchical models, the programme challenges participants to embrace a more expansive understanding of power. This involves recognizing the influence of charisma, decisiveness, empathy, and communication as powerful leadership tools, fostering a leadership style that is both impactful and authentic.
  2. Deconstruct Organizational Power Structures: Participants will gain critical insights into the often-invisible power structures operating within their organizations. By analyzing these dynamics, they can develop strategies to navigate these structures effectively, leveraging their understanding to create positive change and advance their impact.
  3. Cultivate Everyday Leadership: Recognizing that leadership is not confined to formal titles or positions, the programme emphasizes the importance of seizing everyday opportunities to lead. Participants will learn to leverage daily interactions to assert their leadership, build influence, and inspire those around them.
  4. Develop a Distinctive Leadership Brand: Authenticity is paramount in today's complex leadership landscape. This programme guides participants in crafting a compelling leadership narrative and personal brand that reflects their unique values, vision, and strengths, enabling them to stand out as impactful and authentic leaders.
  5. Foster a Global Network of Support: Recognizing the power of collective wisdom and shared experience, the programme facilitates the formation of a diverse, international network of senior women leaders. This supportive community provides a platform for ongoing collaboration, shared growth, and mentorship, extending the benefits of the programme far beyond its formal duration.
