About the Amsterdam Leadership Lab
Situated on the doorstep of the vibrant Zuidas, the Amsterdam Leadership Lab brings together experienced leadership scientists from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, professionals interested in leadership, and aspiring leaders in organizations.
Research at the Amsterdam Leadership Lab draws on the evolutionary roots of leadership to fundamentally understand leadership dynamics and their consequences. Our close ties to the institute of Brain and Behavior Amsterdam (iBBA) at VU Amsterdam allows us to gain an in-depth understanding of leader-follower processes by studying them at the behavioral, physiological, and neurological level.
Our research forms the basis for the instruments and training programs we provide for practitioners. We actively collaborate with managers and professionals in organizations for both our research and for its many practical applications. This ensures that our research remains current and that we optimally serve the needs of the organizations we hope will benefit from our efforts.
