If you are willing to invest in yourself and enhance your knowledge and skills to become a pioneer of change in the investment profession, then the RBA Program is the right choice for you.

The admissions to the program are based upon your educational background and your level of relevant work experience.

In order to apply for one of the modules or the complete RBA Program, you have to:

  • Submit a short motivation letter 
  • Send your resume

Who is the program for?

The program is ideally designed for investment professionals like you who are eager to learn all about how to lead and change the investment profession. Preferably, you are a mid to senior career professional. Typically you work as an investment manager, portfolio manager, risk manager, investment administrator, investment advisor, fiduciary manager, or client manager in a similar position. You might also be working in the capacity of trustee, for a regulatory authority or be holding a supervisory position.

Practical information about the RBA Program

  • Registration Deadline

    The registration deadline to send all the documents needed is two weeks before the start of the module.

  • Tuition fee

    The tuition fees for one module amount to € 2,295; for two modules the fees amount to € 2,195 per module. If you register for the complete RBA Program (12 modules) the tuition fees amount to € 2,000 per module, for a total of € 24,000.

    For members of the CFA Society VBA Netherlands:

    The tuition fees for one module amount to € 2,050; for two modules the fees amount to € 1,950 per module. If you register for the complete RBA Program (12 modules) the tuition fees amount to € 1,950 per module, for a total of € 23,400.

    Please note employers who would like to enroll more than one employee are eligible for a customized offer.

  • Duration and Time Investment

    The complete RBA Program consists of 12 modules, combined in a 2,5 years track. The first five modules are offered by Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

    Each module has a duration of 10 weeks and requires at least 10 to 12 hours of study load, including the lectures.

  • Starting Date

    The RBA Program starts with a new module every three months.

  • Language

    The RBA Program is entirely taught in English.
