On completion of this course (level 0-A1), you can write short emails and messages and have conversations in everyday situations, for example about where you live and what you study, about people you know and things you own. You can also read short, simple texts and ask questions about them, e.g. in the supermarket, a restaurant or public transport. You can fill in personal information in forms from e.g. the municipality or the VU.
Test and certificate
Testing of writing, listening, vocabulary and reading skills takes place at the end of this course. If you pass the test, you receive a ‘Basic Dutch on Campus’ certificate. After completion of this course, you can continue with module 2 in the evening course Dutch for work and study.
