Change is the only constant within organisations. Yet many change processes turn out to be less successful than hoped. Often because the emphasis is on structures, processes and plans - and not enough on the human side of change. Successful change management requires insight into behaviour, interactions and the underlying dynamics.
What can you expect?
The programme consists of six intensive afternoons in which theory and practice go hand in hand. You follow interactive lectures on the latest insights in change management and apply these directly to your own practical case. There is room for peer review, discussion and reflection, allowing you to learn not only from the lecturers but also from fellow participants.
Topics covered include:
- the human side of organisational change;
- how behaviour, attitude and skills can be influenced;
- analysing and managing change processes;
- your own style and preference in dealing with change;
- current trends and developments that demand change.
In conclusion, you write a final paper in which you apply the acquired knowledge to a practical issue.
