Come and join us for the VU Online Master’s Event on Tuesday 14 November.

Do you have a Master’s programme in mind and want to find out more about it? Then sign up for the online VU Master’s Event on 14 November, from 03.00 - 07.00 pm CET. You can already pre-register. 

Are you following a higher vocational education (dutch hbo) programme or have you (almost) completed it? Then you will undoubtedly want to know more about our pre-master’s. 

At the VU Master’s Event, each programme has its own online room. The professors will answer all your questions and the students will share their experiences of the programme via Campus Online – so you can find out which (pre-)master’s or specialisation suits your talents and interests.

What will you find at the VU Master’s Event?

  • Discover your favourite study programme in the online rooms
  • Talk to students, professors and staff
  • Find out all about the study associations and our sports and cultural offerings
  • International student? Ask our International Office all your questions about visas, accommodation and life in Amsterdam 

Pre-registration

You can pre-register for the Master’s Event using your My Study Choice account. As a VU Amsterdam student, you log in with your VUnetID. If you’re not yet a VU Amsterdam student, create an account with your email address, or log in if you’ve already created an account. 

By pre-registering, you’ll be on our “keep me informed” mailing list and you’ll be the first to know when registration for the Master’s Event starts. This will be in October. Please note that pre-registration by itself is not sufficient to attend the event.

Information

  • Schedule

    On Tuesday, November 14, we will start at 3:00 PM and end at 7:00 PM. Several live information sessions will take place during the Master Event. The program follows when the actual registration starts in October.

  • Campus Online

    The Master Event takes place in Campus Online. Each participating programme has its own room. In these rooms, you will find a programme video, documents and the possibility to chat with teachers and/or students. Most programmes also organize live sessions. You can access these sessions through the programme room.

  • International Office

    Our International Office also has its own room and they are available for all your questions that you might have as an international student, like housing, visa, admission and other questions. 

  • How does the (pre-)registration work?

    Follow the steps below to (pre-)register for the Master Event:

    1. Go to the My Study Choice login page
    2. Depending on whether you are already a VU student, follow 1 of the steps below:
      1. I am a VU student: 
        • Choose to log in with your VUnetID and follow the steps to log in.
      2. I am not a VU student, but I already have a My Study Choice account: 
        • Choose to log in with a My Study Choice account and then log in with your account details.
      3. I don't have a My Study Choice account yet:
        • Choose the option to create an account.
        • Then click on 'Create account' on the login screen.
        • Enter the requested information, verify your email address and create your account.
        • Then log in with this information.
    3. On My Study Choice, you will then see the Master's event under study choice activities.
    4. Click on (pre)register and follow the steps. After (pre-)registration, the activity is added to registered activities.
    5. My Study Choice will always be accessible from now on if you log in via the login function at the top right of the VU website.
