VU Master's Event

Come and join us for the VU Online Master’s Event this Fall. Unlock your potential and discover which Master's programme suits you best.

Do you have a Master’s programme in mind and want to learn more about it? Then sign up for the online VU Master’s Event this Fall. You can already save the date with your My Study Choice account. We will be the first to inform you when the registration starts. 

Are you following a higher vocational education (dutch hbo) programme or have you (almost) completed it? Then you will undoubtedly want to know more about our pre-masters. 

At the VU Master’s Event, each programme has its own online room. Here you'll find videos, extra information and documentation, live sessions and via the live chat our teachers and students will answer all your questions. During the open day, you can find out which (pre-)master’s or specialisation suits your talents and interests.

On the open day, we will help you find the (pre)master or specialization that matches your skills, interests and future plans. Whichever master you choose; When you study at VU Amsterdam, you develop your talent and make a scientific and social contribution.

Save the date

Save the date for the Master’s Event using your My Study Choice account. With the save the date you will be added to our 'keep me informed' mailing list and you will be the first to hear when registration for the Master Event starts. This will be in October.

As a VU Amsterdam student, you log in with your VUnetID. If you’re not yet a VU Amsterdam student, create a My Study Choice account with your email address, or log in if you’ve already created an account.

Information

  • Schedule

    The open day starts at 3:00 PM and ends at 7:00 PM. Several live information sessions will take place during the Master's Event. The schedule will be published once the registration starts.

  • Campus Online

    The Master's Event takes place on Campus Online. Each participating programme has its own room. In these rooms, you will find a programme video, documents and the possibility to chat with teachers and/or students. Most programmes also organize live sessions. You can access these sessions through the programme room.

  • International Office

    Our International Office also has its own room and they are available for all your questions that you might have as an international student, like housing, visa, admission and other questions. 

  • How does the save the date/registration work?

    Follow the steps below to (pre-)register for the Master Event:

    1. Go to the My Study Choice login page
    2. Depending on whether you are already a VU student, follow 1 of the steps below:
      1. I am a VU student: 
        • Choose to log in with your VUnetID and follow the steps to log in.
      2. I am not a VU student, but I already have a My Study Choice account: 
        • Choose to log in with a My Study Choice account and then log in with your account details.
      3. I don't have a My Study Choice account yet and I'm not a VU student:
        • Choose the option to create an account.
        • Then click on 'Create account' on the login screen.
        • Enter the requested information, verify your email address and create your account.
        • Then log in with this information.
    3. On My Study Choice, you will then see the Master's event under study choice activities.
    4. Click on Save the date/register and follow the steps. After registration, the activity is added to registered activities. 
    5. My Study Choice will always be accessible from now on if you log in via the login function at the top right of the VU website.
