VU Master's Event

Do you already have a master's programme in mind? Or are you still deciding between several options? Join us for the Online Master's Event on Thursday, November 27th, and learn all about our master's programmes. Unlock your potential and discover which master's programme is the best fit for you.

During the Online Master's Event, you can get to know our master's programmes in an accessible way online, easily from the comfort of your own chair or even from the other side of the world. At VU Amsterdam, you can choose from more than 200(!) programmes. Which means: there's always a programme that suits you. Register now with your My Study Choice account!

During this open day, almost every master's programme organises an online information session. Lecturers and students will discuss the programme in more detail, giving you a better idea of what the master's programme entails. You can also ask any questions you may have!

The online platform also provides further information about studying at VU Amsterdam. You can chat with lecturers and students, as well as other visitors, such as your potential new fellow students. This is the best way to discover which (pre)master's programme or specialisation suits your talents and interests.

Are you following a higher vocational education (Dutch hbo) programme or have you (almost) completed it? Then you will undoubtedly want to know more about our pre-master's.

In addition to the Online Master's Event of November 27, we will organise a Master's Event on the VU campus on Saturday, March 7, 2026. More information about this event will follow at a later date.

Why should you attend the Online Master's Event?

You may just discover your future Master's programme during our online information sessions.
You will find everything in one virtual place, such as programme videos, important programme documents and much more.
You can use the chat function to talk to students and professors. Which makes it very easy and quick to ask questions and get answers!
If you are not studying at VU Amsterdam yet, you can get a good (virtual) impression of our campus.
Are you an international student? Visit the International Office room and ask all your questions about visas, accommodation and life in Amsterdam!

Register now!

Would you like to join this event? The registration is now available in the My Study Choice account portal. By registering, you indicate which sessions you are interested in, and you will receive the link to Campus Online before the open day. This is the platform where the online open day takes place.

You can add the registration via your My Study Choice account. As a VU student, log in with your VUnetID. Not a VU student yet? Log in with your previously created account or create an account with your email address.

Schedule

The open day takes place on Thursday, 27 November and starts at 3:00 pm and ends at 7:00 pm CET. Several live information sessions will take place during the Master's Event. In the registration form, you indicate which sessions you would like to attend.
Campus Online

The Master's Event takes place on Campus Online. Each participating programme has its own room. In these rooms, you will find a programme video, documents and the possibility to chat with teachers and/or students. Most programmes also organise live sessions. You can access these sessions through the programme room.
Are you an international student?

Join the room of our International Office on Campus Online and can answer all your questions about housing, visa, admission, etc. Don't forget to join their live session about studying for a Master's degree in Amsterdam.
How does the registration work?
Registration is possible from the beginning of November. Do you want to be notified when registration starts? Make sure to add the Save the Date:
Follow the steps below:
1. Go to the My Study Choice login page
2. Depending on whether you are already a VU student, follow 1 of the steps below:
  1. I am a VU student:
    
    Choose to log in with your VUnetID and follow the steps to log in.
  2. I am not a VU student, but I already have a My Study Choice account:
    
    Choose to log in with a My Study Choice account and then log in with your account details.
  3. I don't have a My Study Choice account yet, and I'm not a VU student:
    
    Choose the option to create an account.
    
    Then click on 'Create account' on the login screen.
    
    Enter the requested information, verify your email address and create your account.
    
    Then log in with this information.
3. On My Study Choice, you will see the Master's event under study choice activities.
4. Click on:
  1. Save the Date Master's Event: You are now added to our mailing list, and we will notify you when registration starts.
  2. Register (once registration is available): Follow the steps. After registration, the activity is added to the registered activities.
5. My Study Choice will always be accessible from now on if you log in via the login function at the top right of the VU website.
