System Earth; the impact of climate and man on the natural system

Do you want to learn more about System Earth? Interested in how human actions influence land, water and biodiversity?

Then the minor Earth and Climate is just the thing for you. Check here whether you meet the admission requirements and find out how to apply.

Admission and registration

  • Admission

    Undergraduate students interested in the functioning of System Earth (land, ocean, atmosphere) and the impact of climate and man on the natural system. The minor targets at students with a background in the Natural Sciences (profiel Natuur en Techniek, Natuur en Gezondheid or comparable educational tracks) that follow a major outside the domain of this minor (verbredende minor). Similarly for students from HBO. Mechanical Engineering students (UT-VU) can directly register through VUnet.
