Typical to KIN is its ‘embedded research’: research in close collaboration with industry partners and the emphasis on discussing research. In the two monthly “KINcubator” sessions, we discuss our ongoing research projects, while the monthly ‘reading group’ sessions serve to discuss classics on a particular theory or perspective and during our seminars and workshops, academic scholars from other universities present their research. Each year at the end of the Spring semester, we organize the KIN Summer School during which around 20 international late PhD candidates and junior faculties engage with a group of five senior international scholars to learn more about KIN-related research.

KINTalks
It seems that there are (too) little moments where academics and practitioners meet. The concept of KINTalks is simple: sharing knowledge, firing up a debate and foster enduring connections. Every KINTalks event features a dynamic lineup of one or two captivating speakers, attracting a diverse audience that includes researchers, practitioners, and enthusiasts alike. More information about the KINTalks can be found here.

Academic Seminars
We frequently invite academic scholars to present their latest research either as part of our seminar series or in a one or two days workshop setting. We do this in collaboration with our Graduate School.
