Global Health internships

The Research Master Global Health team is always looking for internship placements for our students. Do you work on a Global Health-related topic, and do you need help with research, programme design or evaluation? Submit your internship vacancy today.

Field of work

Global Health-related fields and topics include, but are not limited to, migrant health, food system transformation, infectious diseases, sustainability, patient engagement, sexual and reproductive health, and reducing health inequities. Are you working on these kinds of topics? Then we are looking for you!

Student skills

Our students are trained in conducting scientific research that addresses real-world challenges, such as facilitating inclusive stakeholder processes, designing and evaluating policies and interventions, and contributing to system innovations through mixed-methods and qualitative research.

What we offer

Our Research Master Global Health students can provide new insights and recommendations by approaching your research question from a mixed-methods or transdisciplinary perspective. They will apply various quantitative and qualitative methodologies during a 5-month internship with you.

Title: Integration of indigenous knowledge in global agricultural value chains: Adaptation to climate change in Kenya

Title: Reuniting Homeless people in India with their families: How to capture the most telling markers to be able to identify the community of origin

Title: A mixed-method evaluation of treatment outcomes and exploration of best practices for patients with non-communicable diseases and mental disorders in Nigeria
Organization: Stichting Vluchteling

Title: Reducing the maternal mortality ratio for the Caribbean island Curaçao; Increasing insights in the past maternal mortality ratio to improve future surveillance of maternal mortality and maternal health care
