The series In the Blink of an Eye invites several thoughts about the relation between humans and technology. The four panels, showing the transcriptions of thousands of digits, result from the act of counting made by an average smartphone instructed to count during the brief moment of humans' blink of an eye.
Adding a colour gradient to the density scale, Leegte creates the optical effect of emerging patterns and landscapes from the overwhelming display of numbers, putting into relation the natural with the virtual.
