Election time: Climate Change

How do we deal with the climate crisis? What measures are we taking to fix the climate, turn the tide, adapt? What do we do as we increasingly come face to face with the consequences of climate change, such as heat waves and floods? What action is needed now and what policies do we make for later? How do we act to secure our own future and that of others, in the Netherlands and globally?

Tackling climate change, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and transitioning to renewable energy sources are key issues within the upcoming elections. Young and old are concerned with it and everyone has an opinion on it. Within our university, climate (change) is one of the main topics our researchers are working on every day. What does the science say about this important topic?
