Eduroam and wireless internet

Visitors from Eduroam-affiliated institutions may use the Eduroam network at VU. Visitors who have no VUnetID can use the ‘guest’ wireless internet with a temporary log-in account. These accounts are created for a maximum of four weeks.

Eduroam

You can find an overview of the affiliated institutions at www.eduroam.nl and www.eduroam.org.

You simply use the user name and password of your own institution. However, the network encryption should be on WPA2 with AES.

Eduroam is available on the VU campus and at the following non-VU campus locations:

  • VU-Uilenstede (Bavinck house and Atria)
  • Griffioen Cultural Centre
  • VU Sports Centre
  • Metropolitan
  • Academic Centre for Dentistry Amsterdam

Settings
