The alumni association of the Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences department aims to strengthen the relationship between VU Amsterdam and alumni.
Since 2022, the Alumni Association of Special Chemists is the successor of the alumni association ABC, which was founded on 20 October 2005. The aim of the association is to promote the relationship between people within the Department of Chemistry & Pharmaceutical Sciences as well as the relationship with Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and its alumni. The association organizes several annual meetings to realize this goal.

Who can become a member?
- Students with a bachelor's or master's degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences
- PhD students from the Department of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences (the former Faculty of Chemistry).
