As part of VU Amsterdam's year theme The power of hope, the VU School of Religion and Theology is organising the symposium Rediscover and Build Hope for All on behalf of the entire university. VU Amsterdam's rector Jeroen Geurts opens the symposium, including Archbishop Thabo Makgoba, Desmond Tutu's successor.
