Description
This is a 6-day workshop with two hours of lectures in the morning (10:00-12:00) and three hours of classes in the afternoon (1:30-5:30, with one or two breaks). The main purpose of the workshop is to refresh the student’s knowledge in matrix algebra (2 days), statistics (2 days), and econometrics (2 days), so that they obtain the required knowledge to fruitfully follow the courses in the master’s program. A second purpose is to teach students how to program in R and/or Python at the level required in the master’s program. A more detailed schedule of topics will be made available at a later stage.
Corona caveats
There is no certainty at this point on how the lectures and classes will be delivered. The most likely scenario is a hybrid of on campus and online teaching. This will be decided and communicated later.
