Our programmes

  • Bachelor's Programme

The Department of Organisational Sciences offers, in cooperation with the Department of Public Administration & Political Science, the Bachelor's programme B&O:

  • Master's Programme

The Department of Organisational Sciences offers two Master's programmes, each with its own social science perspective on organisations and organising:

The BCO master's programme is a largely Dutch-language programme. It approaches policy, communication and organisational issues from different social science perspectives and disciplines, such as business administration, psychology, sociology, communication sciences and public administration. Important themes covered in this programme are strategy formation, organisational behaviour, entrepreneurship, social and organisational networks and communication between and within organisations.

The English-language master's programme COM focuses on the cultural and intercultural dimensions of management and organisation. COM takes a critical look at processes of local and international cooperation, identity and inclusion/exclusion, change and resistance to change, entrepreneurship and transnationalism. The programme teaches to understand organisations 'from the inside' and to analyse them 'from the outside'.

Both master's programmes offer a substantive and methodological complement to the Bachelor's B&O and connect well to various WO and HBO bachelors within the domain of social and/or economic sciences.
