Search and find literature
Are you looking for literature for study or research? The subject guide to Medicine is a good starting point for finding relevant resources.
Many recent books are available digitally; downloading and printing may be subject to restrictions. Often the number of simultaneous users is limited.
(E-)books can be found and accessed via LibSearch. For information on borrowing and reserving paper copies, follow the 'Borrowing' button below. Besides managing the collection, we provide guided tours and workshops for students.
Teaching & Research support
In addition to questions on accessing resources, we offer support for teaching and research.
Teaching: we offer online information literacy courses via the UB libguides.
Would you like support in teaching information literacy? If so, please contact our subject librarians.
Research: we offer assistance with literature searches for a systematic review, article or research question. See 'Support with literature search' or contact us.
If you have questions about teaching or research, e.g. about open access publishing, please contact the Human Health & Life Sciences subject librarian team.
