Inclusief onderwijs is een kernpunt op de onderwijsagenda. Het belang van dit onderwerp blijkt uit de toenemende ongelijkheid in leerprestaties, wat gevolgen heeft voor de sociale samenhang.
Onze onderzoekslijn richt zich op besluitvorming binnen leertrajecten van leerlingen met speciale onderwijsbehoeften, op etnische en sociale diversiteit in het onderwijs, en op samenwerking tussen scholen en jeugdzorg. Het doel is het bevorderen van welzijn en gelijke toegang tot betekenisvol en kwalitatief hoogstaand onderwijs voor álle jongeren.
