To receive VU-facilities, I needed to supply proof I have autism. I find that difficult. There are many students struggling with things that are not immediately diagnosable or easily explained. Their support needs can still be very real. That is exactly why I think it is important to create more awareness about invisible disabilities - and about the fact that support is not something extra, but sometimes simply necessary in order to participate.

I study Sociology because I have always been curious about people and the way we live together. At the same time, I experience every day how exhausting a world full of stimuli can be.
