Prof.dr.ir. Bart Bossink is a highly accomplished academic and researcher in the field of technology and innovation. He currently serves as a Professor of Breakthrough Technology and Sustainable Innovation at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Netherlands. He has also held academic positions at Twente University of Technology and Erasmus School of Management, Rotterdam.
Bart obtained his Bachelor's and Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management Science from Twente University of Technology, followed by a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering and Management Science from Twente University of Technology.
Throughout his career, Bart has conducted extensive research on technological innovation management, sustainable business practices, and tech entrepreneurship. He has published numerous articles in leading academic journals and authored several books on technology, innovation, sustainability, and entrepreneurship. Based on his knowledge and experience, he has founded and managed several academic bachelor's and master's degree programs in the field of technological innovation and business administration.
In addition to his academic work, Bart is a sought-after advisor and speaker, having worked with a variety of organizations in both the public and private sectors, while he also frequently appeared on television shows about business innovation, and served as an advisor of Dutch national ministries. He is known for his ability to translate complex academic concepts into practical, actionable insights that can help organizations improve their technological innovation and sustainability practices.
