The world is being hit by unprecedented heat waves, mass animal and plant deaths, droughts and floods. All of this has devastating consequences. Is it too late to do anything about it? Or can we come to nature's rescue by adjusting our behaviour? Our speakers will explore the relationship between humans and nature. They will also discuss how we can prepare ourselves, so we are ready when nature strikes back.
Vasilis Kokkoris, as assistant professor of Fungal Biology, will offer us a unique glimpse into the wonderful world of the fungi under our feet. With Jaap Seidell, the professor in the field of nutrition and health, we will discover how our eating behaviours are inextricably linked to the health of our planet.
