Marilynne Robinson

Marilynne Robinson is a distinguished American writer and essayist, known for her profound novels and intellectual essays.

Her literary work often includes themes of faith, human dignity, and the complexities of family life. Robinson broke through with her debut novel Housekeeping (1980), and her most well-known work is the award-winning Gilead trilogy, consisting of Gilead (2004), Home (2008), and Lila (2014). She has received several prestigious awards, including the Pulitzer Prize for Gilead. In addition to her fiction work, Robinson writes essays on politics, religion and culture, arguing for a renewal of moral and spiritual values in society.
