Hang Youth

Hang Youth will perform from 18:45 to 19:30.

Hang Youth deliberately holds the middle ground between a funny art project, an angry tweet and a blood-serious punk band.

In 2020, the Amsterdam natives released the albums 'Boel aan de hand' and 'Alles moet beter', featuring ultra-short but radically furious hardcore pop punk beaters like 'Waarom is alles zo kk duur?', 'Ik geef een nier voor geen Rutte IV' and 'Belastingdienst'. Bursting at the seams with social commitment, the boys pursue their extremely anarchic agenda wherever they can. For instance, they played multiple primetime television and radio moments to smithereens as well as an illegal occupation of the Zuidas and they have no intention of stopping.

May 2021 saw the release of the album 'Het k-woord', and if capitalism hasn't fallen by then, the band will be forced to release more albums.
