Eco-Anxiety: From Fear to Hope

Interactive session with climate psychologist Jochem Bukman and Chief Diversity Officer Sharda Nandram

Do you ever feel overwhelmed by the immense challenges our planet is facing? Wondering how to deal with it and how you can make a difference as an individual?

Take a seat in the Science Tent on the campus square and explore your feelings about climate change together with Jochem Bukman and Sharda Nandram. 
 
From fear and uncertainty to denial and apathy, everyone has their own feelings about the major changes the climate is undergoing. During this session, we will delve into the deeper layers of these emotions and how they influence our thinking and actions. Jochem Bukman will take you through the whole spectrum of reactions and open the door to constructive discussions that lead to mutual understanding; Sharda Nandram supports and interprets, using her expertise in 'Hindu Spirituality and Society'.  

Discover how to turn your feelings into action, and connect with others who have the same questions and concerns. An interactive session that challenges and inspires you!
