CPB Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis

Spatial, Transport, and Environmental Economics Master students that have completed the programme are very capable in performing economic analyses in the fields of urban & regional, transport, real estate, and environmental economics.

Rob Euwals (programme leader Built Environment at the CPB):

“The CPB is the economic research institute in the Netherlands. The CPB provides estimates and economic analyses to support policymakers and politicians in their policy decisions. In addition, we conduct scientific research to provide a solid base for our own work.

The CPB has more than 100 employees, many of whom are economists and econometricians. We work in teams in a targeted manner on estimates, economic analyses, and research projects. The CPB has a relatively large number of young employees. As a graduate of the programme, you are interesting for CPB because you can perform economic analyses in the field of urban & regional, transport, real estate, and environmental economics.”
