"Discovering a passion for finance, I pursued the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) credential at VU. I chose the CMA program at VU due to its proven track record of effectively preparing candidates, convenient weekly schedule, and location. I started the program in 2022 and completed it in 18 months.
During the program, the lecturers connected theoretical concepts with up-to-date case studies, which elevated the learning experience. The educational materials provided by VU, combined with GLEIM resources, complemented each other excellently. This resulted in a comprehensive learning environment. I also greatly appreciated the interactions with my classmates, which fostered a stimulating and supportive atmosphere. Although the journey to becoming a CMA required dedication, consistent effort, and commitment, I enjoyed it immensely and found it to be an extraordinary experience.
Since completing the program, I have applied my learning not only to my daily work but also expanded my understanding and application into areas such as internal controls, risk management, and ESG. The program enabled me to develop and refine the internal control system in our organization.
