In April and May, there will be no trains or fewer trains running to, from or via Amsterdam Zuid station on several days. This is due to the construction of a new, wider passenger walkway and a cycle and pedestrian tunnel. We advise students, professionals, staff and visitors to allow for extra travel time when travelling to the VU.
When will there be disruption?
* 11–12 April: no train services
* 13–17 April: fewer trains and a revised timetable
* 28 April–4 May: no train services
* 13–17 May: no train services again
Travel advice
As train services will be partially or completely suspended on these days, it is important to allow for extra travel time and alternative transport. The metro will continue to run, ensuring that the VU campus remains easily accessible via metro lines.
