The BelleVUe building on the VU campus will be demolished in the summer of 2026. The permit for the use of this building has expired. Therefore, it will be decommissioned. The demolition work is scheduled during the summer vacation between mid-July and the end of August 2026.
To minimize disruption to employees, students and visitors on campus, the demolition of BelleVUe will take place during the summer break. Despite this planning, some nuisance is unfortunately unavoidable. This could include noise, vibrations, dust and extra transport movements to and from the campus.
