The Pop-up studio is an accessible recording space in the OZW building, designed especially for lecturers. With a green screen, professional equipment, and support from student assistants, you can easily create your own knowledge clip, free of charge.
“Lecturers often missed the ability to point at or annotate something while recording,” says Joost Canters, AV Director at the VU Education Lab. “This feature brings that spontaneity back, just like in the lecture hall.”
The tablet is easy to use: lecturers draw directly on their PowerPoint slides with a digital pen. No extra software, no hassle. “It feels just like standing in front of a whiteboard,” says one lecturer who already tested the feature.
This new tool complements the existing options available in the Pop-up studio: from classic knowledge clips to lightboard recordings, and now, dynamic clips with tablet support.
