Work includes:
- Repairing facade frames if necessary (interior and exterior)
- Sanding and painting of windows and facade on the outside
- Interior painting where necessary
- Limited opening of windows to tilt position
For exterior painting, scaffolding will be installed with walkways on the 5th and 6th floors. In addition, work is carried out using aerial platforms, depending on weather conditions.
What will you notice about the work?
- Noise nuisance due to scaffolding assembly, dismantling and sanding work
- Limited view due to scaffolding netting
- In rainy weather, a tarpaulin is stretched when they are painting there. This tarpaulin does not let light through, so it can be temporarily a bit darker in the room
- Moving of furniture (in consultation and with assistance from FCO). Do not put the furniture back against the window yourself; FCO will do this at a later time.
- Possible temporary unavailability of sitting and working rooms due to painting and repairs (a few hours to a maximum of 3 days)
- Painters will work with aerial platforms on the north side. During the work, areas around the building will be cordoned off and you will not be able to use the bicycle parking spaces under the facade
- On 1 and 2 April, the exterior blinds on the street side will be disabled due to painting work
- Facade parts of the 5th and 6th floors may be cleaned with a pressure washer. In doing so, we will try to limit the inconvenience as much as possible.
