After four years of dedicated collaboration, the HAPPY Project has reached its successful conclusion. Initiated in January 2020, the project aimed to strengthen qualitative research methods at higher education institutions in Bhutan, fostering innovative teaching and learning approaches in the social sciences and humanities.
Despite the challenges posed by the global pandemic, the partnership between universities in Bhutan, Slovenia, and the Netherlands was succesful, leading to significant achievements. Some highlights of the projects such as several winning research proposals, the establishment of a Qualitative Research Methodology Laboratory at Royal Thimphu College in Bhutan, and numerous spin-offs stand as a testament to the project's impact.
The team takes immense pride in these accomplishments, which have enriched curricula and enhanced academic competencies in qualitative research.
