“On the 10th of December we hosted the online Kick-off of the FLAME Project: the Female Leadership and Mentoring programme for 22 inspiring female leaders working in the circular economy across the Middle East and North Africa. This Project is implemented by CIS together with the VU Leadership Academy and SBE experts on the circular economy.
This training is financed by the MENA Scholarship Programme (MSP), managed by Nuffic and funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands.
It was truly wonderful to meet all these dedicated women who are committed to creating meaningful impact in their communities and countries. Their passion, courage, and clarity of purpose set a powerful tone for the journey ahead.
The Kick-off session was just the very first, and very energising, gathering. A foundation of connection, shared motivation, and curiosity on which we will continue to build in the coming months. We’re very much looking forward to the next steps and to witnessing how this group will grow, lead, and ignite positive change”
