Hans Berends and Fleur Deken from the KIN Center for Digital Innovation joined the editorial teams of prominent journals on innovation and strategic management.
Fleur Deken has been appointed as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Product Innovation Management (JPIM), a leading journal that publishes interdisciplinary research on innovation management and product development. JPIM features original articles on organizations of all sizes, from start-ups to large corporations, across consumer, business-to-business, and policy domains.
Fleur expressed her enthusiasm for the role, stating, "I look forward to reviewing papers on a range of topics, including collaborative innovation, digital innovation, innovation ecosystems, and mission-driven innovation. I especially welcome submissions that take a practice-theoretical or strategy-as-practice approach. Methodologically, I hope to see qualitative research using ethnographies, comparative case studies, and process analyses."
Hans Berends has joined the Editorial Board of the Strategic Organization, a prominent journal focusing on the intersection of strategic management and organization studies. Known for its interdisciplinary approach, the journal is committed to advancing the understanding of strategic and organizational processes. Hans shared what we can expect from his role as co-editor: "I will be part of a great team of co-editors. I am looking forward to seeing submissions on a broad range of topics, but especially related to topics of innovation, digital transformation, collaboration, and ecosystems. I will be handling mostly qualitative papers and hope to see many process research studies.”
